Chevrolet Camaro SS ATCC 1968 Beechey by Automodelli Studio
Alternative version AUTAMS028 Thomson & AUTAMS029 Allan
Norm Beechey’s maximum attack driving style made him a firm favourite with race fans in Australia and for a handful of races early in 1968 he used a near standard ‘67 Camaro SS as a stop gap between his Chevy Nova and new Holden Monaro. The car was still in its factory black with white stripes, had a full interior and no roll cage as far as we can see from period photos! The kit is the SMTS road car offering with new wheels and a fresh decal print including those stripes, his favoured number 4 and a few small supplier logos. The instructions are a mix of SMTS assembly drawing and photos of a finished model from Automodelli and it should be a simple build for something a little different.

About Automodelli Studio
An interesting range of mostly Australian oriented subjects. Some subjects are based on other makers' castings where suitable (Marsh Models, Jemmpy & SMTS the most commonly used) while others are made entirely in house. Decals often laser or inkjet printed, but still with good bright colours and clarity. Most kits included
a modest amount of etched detailing. Made in Australia
