BMW 700RS Hillclimb 1960/61 #148 Stuck by Avenue 43
BMW's nimble 700 saloon was launched in 1959 and immediately showed great prowess in racing. Inspired, for 1960 the factory built two lightweight race versions and with this first chassis, veteran racer Hans Stuck won the German Hillclimb championship outright. The car is modeled as it has been restored and checks out very well with images of the real thing. The finish is to a high standard and production is limited to just 333 examples of this important piece of BMW history.
