Maserati Quattroporte 1960 Red by BBR
Maserati’s original Quattroporte wasn’t the most elegant of machines to come out of Modena but it had a certain presence. The original car had rectangular headlamps which were replaced by twin round lights on the facelift in 1965, the car modelled here. This is a very rare model from BBR in that it hasn’t been made with quite the usual level of finesse. Yes there’s a high gloss paint finish and there are plenty of neatly fitted etched parts for window frames etc, but the panel engraving is very heavy and there are details such as rear lights which are plain wrong.
