Fiat 128 Gr2 Zandvoort 1972 #39 Veronica by Bee Bop
Also available TRO172P - kit
This model was initially listed as being from Zeltweg and while the Trivellato team did have several cars in that ETCC race, the Radio Veronica sponsorship seen here was actually from Zandvoort. The car didn't finish the race, retiring with a blown engine, but the 1972 ETCC race in among the Dutch sand dunes was well documented and race photos show that the model is well decorated. The red paint is smoothly applied where visible but much of the model is covered with clearly printed decals. The model is based on an older kit so isn't the most sophisticated, but it's well finished and an attractive subject.
