In order to homologate their machines for GT1 racing Porsche had to produce twenty five examples of the car for road use. This model depicts the most photographed machine which appeared in various press articles and at Le Mans in 1997. In terms of shape and basic details the model looks pretty good when compared with the various photos available but the finish on our sample isn't the best. It's well built but the paint is a little uneven (a fairly common problem with silver), as is the panel engraving.
