Ferrari 250LWB TDF 1959 #161 by Bee Bop
Kit also available TRO286P
Ferraris filled the first three places in the GT category on the Tour de France in 1959, with the first of these two subjects being the third placed one. The other appears to have retired but was running at the sharp end early on in the event, photos showing it leading the Rouen race on day two. Both models are well finished with decent paint and well applied decals, though on the front of the red #161 car the makeshift number plate that was made up of tape on the real thing is rather too uniform on the model when compared with photos of the original car.
