Ferrari 166SC Sicily 1949 Biondetti by Bee Bop
The early postwar runnings of the Targa Florio took place of the Giro di Sicilia course which meant a gruelling 1080 mile lap of the island. In 1949 exactly half of the 114 starters made it to the end and this Ferrari was the fastest of them, driven by Clemente Biondetti. The model is a little chunky in places but overall the shape looks pretty good and the paint finish is excellent.
