Ferrari 246 2nd Argentina 1960 Allison by Bee Bop
Cliff Allison’s second place in the opening race of the 1960 season may have been positive from a points point of view but McLaren’s winning margin of nearly 30 seconds in his Cooper and the third placed car having had a driver change showed that the mid-engined cars had a significant advantage over the out dated front-engined Ferrari. The model is very well finished with excellent paint and some neat detailing in the cockpit but the shape isn’t quite right, the nose sitting a little high and the tail being on the long side.
