Rolls Royce Phantom III Sedanca de Ville by Carbone
1937
The Phantom III was an exclusive machine and this Sedanca de Ville, one of two similar machines built by Park Ward is considered to be one of the most elegant bodies. The car lived in London until the 1970s before it was bought by an American and eventually found its way into the Blackhawk Collection. The deep red paintwork suits the design well and the wicker effect pattern on the rear doors is very well done. The car was a regular attendee of concours events and looking at images from these the model looks very good indeed.
