Talbot Lago T150 Roadster Saoutchik by Carbone - Chromes
Talbot Lago T150 Roadster ‘Saoutchik’ 1939
Although described as a Saoutchik car, this subject is actually the work of an unknown coachbuilder and is believed to have been built in the early 1950s on a pre-war chassis. The design is very heavily influenced by the Saoutchik T26GS coupes of the late 1940s and if anything this is an even better proportioned machine. The model is based on the car as it survives today with a pale blue-grey body and the wheels painted burgundy to match the interior. The model is finished to a typically high standard, with excellent paint and plenty of fine detailing, the grille and painted wheels looking particularly attractive.
