Ferrari 250 TR Sebring 1958 #17 Neumann by Tron-Club
The previous releases in this series of unusual Testarossas were based on Starter kits but this time Tron have used a Renaissance kit, which is a far more sophisticated starting point. The build is a little patchy as the interior isn’t that well finished and the windscreen on our sample wasn’t central. The exterior paint is good though and the decoration looks good. The subject was the first TR sold to a private entrant and owner John van Neumann was joined by Richie Ginther at Sebring, the pair running in fourth place before the transmission cried enough after 10 hours of racing.
