Ferrari 512BB Le Mans 1978 #87 1:18 by Tron-Club
There were five Ferrari Boxers which took the start at Le Mans in 1978 and all of them retired with transmission failure. This NART entered machine was physically very similar to the two Pozzi machines and had been running eleventh overall and second in class on the Sunday morning when forced to pull over. Tron’s model looks very good in terms of both shape and finish. The masking of the lower satin black panels is precisely done, as are the window frames and through the flat acetate screen we see a fair level of cockpit detail. Overall a very striking model.
