Range Rover Vogue Metallic Brown 1:18 by Cult Scale Models
Longtime readers of Octane may recall that about ten years ago editor-at-large Robert Coucher owned a1991 Range Rover Vogue SE, finished in Ardennes Green but otherwise identical to this replica. Outwardly it looked immaculate but, sadly, it had to go when a pre-MOT inspection revealed extensive rot. That's one thing you'll never need to worry about with Cult's beautiful model. Cast in resin, with no opening panels (although you can 'pose' the front wheels), it captures the Rangie's handsome looks perfectly. The generous glass area of the windows means that the interior is on full display and here, too, Cult has done a great job of depicting the dashboard, leather seats and walnut trim. A lovely piece - although one we suspect Robert might find a little too much of a painful reminder.

About Cult Scale Models
Well-proportioned 1:18 resincast models with some interesting subject choices, many of which have a distinctly Anglophile flavour! Paint finishes are excellent, the smaller parts fit well but occasionally the trim detailing could be better. Made in China for The Netherlands.
