Peugeot 402 Commerciale 1938 by Esdo
Peugeot’s aerodynamic 402 was available with a variety of body styles and this model depicts a car built on the largest standard wheelbase. Usually this would be an eight seat car but in Commerciale form seen here there are no rear seats, just a flat load floor accessed either by the side doors or a two piece tailgate. The kit is well cast and the external shape of the car looks very good. The build will be simple with just a handful of resin parts and a few fine etched details to finish things off. These include the front grille which needs to be shaped to fit, though there is a distinct mounting ridge to fit it into which simplifies matters.

Beautifully cast, very simple resin kits and hand-built models. Kits include some white metal parts, minimal photo-etch and basic but useful instructions. Some subjects slightly let down by the rather crude cast wheels. Built models generally well built. Made in France.
