In 1939 Darl’Mat apparently produced a unique single seater based on Peugeot 402 running gear but with war breaking out the car was hidden away and unused until 1947. We’ve not been able to find photos of the body former used to create the aluminium bodywork but this finely made hand built sculpture is an inspired view of what it may have looked like. An interesting piece for collectors of unusual coachwork or Peugeot.
Beautifully cast, very simple resin kits and hand-built models. Kits include some white metal parts, minimal photo-etch and basic but useful instructions. Some subjects slightly let down by the rather crude cast wheels. Built models generally well built. Made in France.
