This wonderful collection of photographs from the 1950s and 1960s is subtitled as being a personal photographic record, but unlike many similar books that we have seen over the years, the man behind the lens was a professional rather than a keen amateur. That said, the very early pictures in the book were taken before Duerden had chosen his path in life. The images have been carefully selected and capture the atmosphere of a wide range of events from hillclimbs, to Grands Prix, to traditional long distance rallies. Fascinating stuff.
