Maserati 250F Owners Workshop Manual
Weight 1kg by Ian Wagstaff
Haynes are choosing their subjects well for this series and here we have a detailed look at one of the most famous racing car types of all time. The title is slightly misleading as it doesn’t provide us with torque wrench settings or valve clearances, nor do we see the immortal words “re-assembly is the reverse of removal”, but we do get plenty of detail to enjoy. The first section is an overview of the racing history of these great cars. Next we get on to the section of most interest to modellers with fantastic close up photos of the mechanical details of the cars, some from when the cars were new and others of Nick Mason’s example. There are recollections from drivers and engineers, a look at 250Fs in historic racing and individual chassis histories. Fantastic value and a must for detail modellers.
