Motor Racing: The Pursuit of Victory 1963 to 1972 by Book

We took a look at the first dip into Steve Wyatt’s photo archive (ISB9781845842766) just over a year ago and here we see the result of much deliberation between Wyatt, Anthony Carter and Bob Dance as they attempted to cherry pick from over 12,000 images accumulated over a lifetime of following motorsport. The majority of the images are Wyatt’s own and as he was attending the races as a spectator rather than press, so we see plenty of slightly unusual and atmospheric shots. The majority of the images are in black and white, but there is some colour where his budget allowed at the time. In the early sixties he was travelling to races at Brands Hatch and Crystal Palace by public transport but as life moved on and funds increased the photos include Spa, the Nurburgring and Zolder. In all there are over 400 previously unpublished image giving a superb enthusiasts view of many forms of motorsport during a golden era.
