This little series celebrating Britains rich racing heritage concentrates on the work of single photographers at their local circuits and our guide this time was initially a marshall at the super fast Thruxton course before becoming a semi-official photographer for the track. We see a wide variety of national and international races taking place here with a great many famous names in our favourite sport taking part, in the case of the single seater aces very often in the early stages of their careers. Formula Ford, F3, F2, Interserie, special saloons, British Touring Cars, historics and even Renault 5s are all included in this fascinating snapshot.
