Since its original publication in 2006, we have found Terry O’Neil’s history of the motor racing that took place in the Bahamas during the 1950s and 1960s extremely useful. This is a significantly expanded update with an enlargement of format and an additional fifty or so pages allowing for the inclusion of many more photographs and details. Some of these are from the modern ‘Revival’ meetings of the past couple of years but the majority still take us back to the originals which saw many of the World’s top teams and drivers mixing it with the regulars of the American sportscar scene and local Bahaman enthusiasts. The excellent text lays the basic stories of these end of season parties and there are detailed results for all classes. The excellent photos are a fine selection of period colour and black and white and there are some fantastic looking subjects included.
