This huge collection of magazine articles is collated from over eight decades of the specialist motoring press, the earliest from publications such as The Light Car and The Motor in 1925 and the most recent from Octane in 2009. Some of the more recent articles also draw on period images, just to muddy the waters a little, and the information in all makes for interesting reading. A slight frustration is that all reproduction, though enhanced for the earlier material, is in black and white, whereas the pieces from Octane, Classic & Sportscar etc would have been in colour. An interesting read but colour printing isn’t that expensive these days and it could have been so much better.
