We were expecting an Aston Martin history here and to a degree it is one, but of the modern era. The focus is on the cars produced since the Ford aquisition in 1987 and so we start with the V8 Vantage and Volante and on to the DB7 and DB9 platformed cars. There are sixty four individual models highlighted, some standard production machines, others either factory one offs and prototypes or aftermarket conversions. Many of these are little heard of and there’s plenty of scope for an enterprising model maker to come up with some unusual subjects. It’s not all modern equipment however, as there are nods back to the 50s and 60s to give perspective to some of the more recent vehicles.
