We’re always a little suspicious of any ‘definitive’ history of anything and after a quick flick through this well illustrated history of the 246 there doesn’t appear to be anything about the type’s racing exploits in the 1971 and 1972 seasons. As far as the road cars go though things are very comprehensive and there is also attention paid to the V6 engine fitted to other machines such as the Fiat Dino and Lancia Stratos. Interesting, well written and packed with colour.
