Ferrari 250 GT SWB : The Autobiography Of 2119 GT (Great Cars 4) by Book
Ferrari 250GT SWB, The Autobiography
Weight 2.5kg by Doug Nye
This weighty tome is the story of chassis 2119GT, a right hand drive 250SWB completed early in August 1960 and driven straight to England where the following weekend it made its race debut, winning the Tourist Trophy in the hands of Stirling Moss. Its history is followed all the way from manufacture, through its front line competition career and subsequent owners to the current custodian Ross Brawn. There are a huge number of period photographs and reproduced documents included and along the way there is also a look at the 250SWB as a type in general and at many of the characters involved.
