Team Lotus In Formula 1. ( Including 2 Cd-roms ) by Book
weight 1 .8kg by Rainer Schlegelmilch & Hartmut Lehbrink
When we see the name Rainer Schlegelmilch we know that we are going to be in for a visual feast and this certainly does not disappoint. The German photographer has been covering Formula 1 since 1962 and has amassed a huge archive of images to choose from, the majority from his own lens. This pictorial history takes us from Lotus’ first forays in Grand Prix racing in 1958 through to the end of the original Team Lotus in the mid 1990s. The story then picks up again in 2010 with the revival of the team name by businessman and racing enthusiast Tony Fernandez. We see all of the cars, hear from a number of key personalities for the race history and finally to supplement Schlegelmilch’s excellent images there are two CD Roms with podcasts and photos from the new team during the 2010 season.
