Since its first publication as part of the centenary celebrations of the Targa Florio in 2006, this has been a much used volume in the FSW reference library and lives very close to the editorial desk. It doesn’t set out to show every car that has taken part in this great event, but there are photos of a fair variety and there are brief race reports charting the race’s history. The results are more comprehensive with the overall finishing lists and then classification and non-finishers by class. It’s not 100% accurate as some cars are misdescribed (Ferrari 750M as a 250GT for example) but is the most complete printed guide to this historic race to date and an extremely interesting and useful books to have.
