Vignale, Ferrari And All The Others by Book
Weight 2.2kg by Alfredo Zanellato Vignale
The coachworks of Alfredo Vignale are best known for their Ferrari bodies but in the twenty years from its inception in 1946 to Vignale’s death in a road accident this prolific business created over 350 designs, both one-offs and for mass production. Vignale was a private man and the company records have largely been destroyed, so this has been a work of great research and also personal memory as the author is one of his nephews. There are a huge number of photographs included, mostly in black and white, and the story continues to the modern day as this famous name was resurrected by Ford in the 1980s and is now seen on some of their styling exercises. A very interesting read with text in both Italian and English.
