He started the Monte Carlo rally in a Skoda, running in the WRC2 category and showed that talent will out, with a class win and impressive seventh overall. This event marked the 40th anniversary of Skoda’s first Monte Carlo class win and the cars were decorated as a homage to the original 130Rs. This makes for a bright looking model with vivid blue, red and orange stripes standing out from a white base colour. Ixo’s Fabia is well proportioned and the overall standard of finish is very good, with the small detailing on wipers and spoilers being particularly fine.
