Cooper T45 2nd Pau 1958 da Silva-Ramos by Jade Miniatures
Kit available JAD4315
Although there was a full grid at Pau, Nano da Silva Ramos offered the only really serious competition to Trintignant in the Rob Walker Cooper and still finished a lap down. The only photos that we have from the race are in black and white and from these the decal placement and exhaust configuration look to be accurate. The pale blue chosen for the main body finish has a low gloss finish and on our sample the fit of the vacformed windscreen was a little off on an otherwise well assembled model.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
