Maserati 250F Picc Rheims 59 Scarliatti by Jade Miniatures
Also available JAD4337 - kit
By 1959 the Maserati 250F was getting pretty long in the tooth, even in its final lightweight Piccolo form, and at the Grand Prix de l'ACF Giorgio Scarlatti qualified this one last and though he was classified in ninth position at the end he was also nine laps down. It was a good looking car though and the model is very well finished with excellent paint and neatly applied decals. We've seen a fair few versions of the 250F from Jade over the past few years and they make for a fine collection on their own.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
