Having raced in his home Grand Prix for a few years, Carlos Menditeguy drove for Maserati in a number of races during 1957. In Monaco he failed to finish due to an accident. The model matches pre-accident race photos very well with well-placed decals and neat detailing. The paint finish has a dull sheen which is in keeping with period and overall it looks the part.
