The kit for these models was released some years ago now but with so many built options it has taken a while to see some of them! The basic shape of the six-cylinder Gordini is well captured and the models are well finished but on this batch we do have a small query about the track width, which looks very narrow particularly on the front, and the rear tyres appear to be a little on the large side. The combined effect is to make them look a little like hotrods! A shame because the paintwork is excellent and the decals neatly applied. The cars weren’t terribly reliable, da Silva Ramos’s car blowing its engine in the British GP.
