Gordini T11 1946 Chassis 1CG by Jade Miniatures
Also available JAD4374M - built
The T11 was Gordini's first single seater racing car and Amedée Gordini won his second race in it, having crashed out of the lead a few weeks earlier on the car's debut. There are several race photographs included with the kit instructions and, as we would hope, the model checks out pretty well in terms of dimension. One very strange feature for a single seater is that there was a door in the side of the car to ease access. An unusual and historically important subject.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
