Connaught B4 4th Gold Cup 55 #11 Parnell by Jade Miniatures
We've seen plenty of works Connaughts from Jade and here we have one of the more successful privateer cars, the Rob Walker entry of Reg Parnell from the 1955 Oulton Park Gold Cup. The kit parts are in Jade's typical, simple, builder friendly style with plenty of cast resin and metal and thoughtful use of photo-etch. The instructions include many photos of the kit parts and areas that need particular attention along with real car images, one from the original race and several more detailed ones of the restored car now. The hand built model is well finished and shows that it all goes together as it should.
