HWM F2 Holland 1952 #30 van der Lof by Jade Miniatures
Kit available JAD4389
In terms of shape these models are identical, which is no surprise as in Marseille and Holland it was the same chassis used. The general shape of the model looks pretty good and there are some nice touches such as small etched radiator blinds fitted where necessary. The paint is a little on the heavy side on our samples and this has obscured some of the fine vent detail, but otherwise the builds are clean and tidy. None of the three race versions that we see here finished, mechanical failures halting play.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
