Ferrari 156 5th Pau 1962 #8 Bandini by Jade Miniatures
The non-championship Grand Prix of Pau was one of three F1 races happening in Europe over the Easter weekend in 1962 and all received strong entries with factory Lotus, BRM and Ferraris heading for the south of France. Bandini’s car ran with wide angle V6 engine and enclosed rear bodywork and Jade’s simple but very well finished model captures the lines and decoration very well.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
