MGA Roadster Sebring 1956 by K & R Replicas
The MGA entered production in 1955
and a key market for the marque was
the USA. At Sebring in March 1956,
a team of three identical cars started
the 12 hour race, entered by New York
MG distributors, Hambro Automotive
and they were the only team to finish
the race intact, crossing the line in
formation and taking 19th, 20th & 22nd
places. The cars were finished in white
with blue stripes that incorporated
the MG badge. The livery has been well replicated and the kit is based around
K&R’s nicely proportioned castings. With all of the new K&R releases we are
seeing increased use of photo-etch and this includes the wire wheels, which
are in kit form.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
