Austin Healey 3000 Alpine 1960 #76 by K & R Replicas
According to Bill Price's BMC Competitions Department history, the works entered four Healey 3000s for the 1960 Alpine Rally, three of which finished. This kit offers the three cars that made it to the end, led by Pat Moss who was second overall and first in the Coupe des Dames. Kit parts are again cleanly cast with photo-etched parts for the wheel spokes and a few other details. The roof is a separate piece, which will greatly simplify painting and it should make for a straightforward build.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
