Austin Healey Sprite Sebring 1959 by K & R Replicas
We've seen a few variants of K&R's Frogeye Sprite over the past few issues and here we have a kit offering a choice of any of the three cars entered by the American importer for most British cars at the time, Hambro. All three cars were near identical, finished in pale blue with white roofs and they all finished, taking the first three places in class. From a kit building point of view, it is just like the previous Sprite kits from K&R, with well cast white metal for the most part, a small amount of etch for the wire wheel spokes and a couple of other little details and simple decals.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
