MG A Coupe Liege-Sofia-Liege 1962 #49 by K & R Replicas
These two kits offer the same car from different events during the 1962 season. For the Monte Carlo rally the Morley brothers were entrusted with 151 LBL, winning their class, while Gott & Shepherd drove it on the long distance Liege-Sofia-Liege but failed to finish. The kit parts are near identical between the two kits with the difference being on the decalling. The shape of the car looks very good and there are a few etched details for finishing touches, though the side windows would have been better etched than cast and are a little heavy. Otherwise very good.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
