Four factory entered Austin Healey 100/6s were entered for the Liege rally in 1958 and this kit offers the option of building any of the three that made the finish and scooped the team prize. Pat Moss being the highest placed in fourth position overall. We’ve seen plenty of kits of the Austin Healey 100 in various forms from K&R over the years and the kit parts are pretty familiar as a result. The hardtop is a separate moulding which simplifies painting and the wheels are in kit form with etched spokes and cast rims and hubs.
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
