Austin Healey 3000 3rd Liege 1959 by K & R Replicas
There are four decal options in this kit, all for works cars from the Liege-Rome-Liege event and there is a little modification needed to the main casting for a couple of them with a swage line to be removed from the bonnet. This is detailed in the instructions and should be relatively simple to do. Otherwise the castings are the usual high quality that we see in recent K&R releases. The wheels are self assembly wires, the separate roof must be painted to contrast the main body and the decals are clearly printed. Only one of the cars, #84, was classified as a finisher on the event, coming home third overall and first in class.

Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
