Ferrari 246 1st Germany 1959 by K & R Replicas
The German Grand Prix of 1959 took place on the Avus autobahn circuit in Berlin and was a good day for Ferrari, their power suiting the long straights, and they scored a 1-2-3 finish, Brooks leading home Gurney and Hill. The kit offers four options, the lead three cars and that of Cliff Allison who retired. The kit is cast as a short nose car with an additional piece for the longer nose seen in the race, so a small amount of filling will be needed during paint preparation, but it’s nothing difficult. There are etched parts for the self-assembly wire wheels, the dash and radiator and the decals are clearly printed.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
