Ferrari 500 Ulster 1953 Hawthorn by K & R Replicas
Hawthorn entered a few non-championship races in his first season at Ferrari and here we have the car with which he won the only Ulster Trophy race on the Dundrod circuit. We’ve not found any photos from this race so will have to trust the instructions for decal placement and general detailing. Wheels are once again in component form.

Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
