Cooper Bristol Int Trophy 1953 Brandon by K & R Replicas

The Ecurie Richmond team took part in a great many races in the early 1950s with Eric Brandon and Alan Brown doing the driving. Alan Brown was in a works Cooper entry at Silverstone but Brandon flew the Richmond colours, running in third place in the early laps of the heat but eventually finishing tenth in that and eighteenth in the final. We’ve seen K&R’s Cooper kit parts a few times now and as usual the castings are pretty clean and it should all go together well. The cast Cooper wheels are very well done and to simplify fitting of the exhaust the lower side panel on the right hand side of the car is a separate piece.

About K & R Replicas

Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
