Cooper Bristol Mk2 UK 1954 Gerrard by K & R Replicas
Leicester car dealer Bob Gerard’s race cars were always immaculately turned out and as the local agent for both Cooper and Bristol, they were fairly quick too, as was he. In the British Grand Prix in 1954 he was the only Cooper driver to make the finish and was classified tenth, not bad for a 40 year old businessman in a World Championship event. The kit parts replicate the details of his car, such as the subtle snorkel intake, very well and this one is quite a brightly coloured machine.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
