Triumph TR2 Mille Miglia 1954 by K & R Replicas
Although the two options in this kit look very similar, only one was a true works car, the other entered by Coventry scrap dealer, Leslie Brook. The works car with Gatsonides and Triumph competitions boss Ken Richardson aboard finished twenty seventh overall and the Brook/Fairman machine was ninety-fourth, delayed after their spare fuel cans were stolen! The cars differ from production models in that they lack windscreens and close attention will need to be paid to the instructions to use the correct style of aeroscreen for the version you wish to build.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
