Triumph Vitesse Monte Carlo 1963 by K & R Replicas
The factory competition career of Triumph’s six-cylinder Vitesses was somewhat brief, debuting on the 1962 RAC Rally as a single entry and ending after the 1963 season opening Monte Carlo event when all three works cars were fairly dramatically outclassed. This kit offers the choice of any of those Monte entries, the car of Elford being the most successful. The kit parts are well cast needing just a few small feed tags cleaning off before assembling. The body is cast with the roof and windscreen frame as separate pieces (just like the real cars) and the proportions look good. Some masking and two-tone paint will be needed whichever option you build, but this is along distinct panel lines so shouldn’t be an issue, even for a novice.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
