Ferrari 500 UK 1953 by K & R Replicas
We’ve seen (and had built) plenty of versions of K&R’s well-proportioned Ferrari 500 over the years and here are offered four driver options from the British GP at Silverstone. These are the works cars of Farina, Villoresi and Hawthorn and the blue machine driven by Rosier. The wire wheels are in kit form with etched spokes, cast hubs and rims and there is also etch for the dash panel and front grille.

Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
