Porsche 935 Le Mans 1978 #46 Fisons by Madyero
New releases from Madyero are pretty few and far between, so a number of readers may well not be familiar with them. The main parts in the two kits here are identical but for the decals. The main resin body is cleanly cast with just light flash to remove and the basic shape looks good. In order to get the wheels tight into the arches the castings are very thin above, so care will be needed here during paint preparation. The chassis plate is also resin and the rear wing is cast in two fine resin pieces. The wheels are machined alloy and to finish things off we have a few white metal ancillaries, a reasonable amount of photo-etch and clearly printed decals. The hand built model is well finished and doesn't show any ill effects from those very thin wheel arch tops.
